So, you have experienced what improv is like? And you want to play and learn more?
In this longer course you learn more about the basic techniques and mindset of improvisation, through fun and easy games. You will:
• explore playfulness
• listen with intent
• accept making mistakes,
• discover your imagination and creative thinking,
• build confidence,
• improve your communication skills, with and without speaking
• and mostly: have fun!
About the teacher:
Emma Holmes is specialised in Improv, Stand-up Comedy and Storytelling. Emma has a sharp eye for how you can become a pleasant co-player for the other players. You will learn how you don’t have to act funny, but let the fun evolve from the story (finding the game). You will learn to be silly, out of your comfort zone without fear of failing, Presentation skills, active listening skills. And much more.

Wednesdays 10 September – 3rd of December (spare date 10th of December) 2025. Lessons 18:45–20:30h. We have no lesson in the autumn holiday. Show date t.b.d.
Location Buurtcentrum Oase, Cartesiusweg 11 Utrecht. Free parking and next to station Utrecht Zuilen. Drinks at café Warmoes. THIS COURSE IS SOLD OUT, but you can try the waitlist.

Mondays 8 Sep – 20 Oct 2025 20:45-22:15. Location ZIMIHC Wittevrouwen. Teacher Matthijs Meulblok. 7 lessons €150 inc 21% BTW. We DO have a lesson in the autumn holiday. More information about teacher Matthijs: Matthijs studied Media Studies. He has his own studio in wolvenplein to record podcasts, voice overs, coaching people on voice acting, podcasts, media. He plays in Pure Chocolade, and trains different groups, special workshops. He enjoys teaching special themes and formats.
