Improv For Life course 

Living a life less ordinary 

People often say they join an Improv Class to escape from real life.  But what if real life could be more like improv?  What if you could experience, the same joy, connection, creativity and play in your everyday work and life? This is the question that we will explore in this course.  We will uncover the wisdom hidden in improv games and exercises and apply them to your personal life challenges, in a playful way. 

We will practice valuable life skills such as: 

• Presence, 
• Courage, 
• Listening
• Relating 
• Synthesis

We will explore themes like, 

• Playing with polarity 
• Embracing fear, 
• Being the hero of your life story
• Discovering your purpose and gifts 
• Playful mind mindful play

7  Wednesdays from 19:00- 21:30. Lesson dates: 5, 12, 19 February, 5, 12, 19, 26 March. No holiday in the school holiday (26 February).

Price €330 ex BTW. 21% BTW= €69,30. Total costs €399,30 incl BTW.
Your ticket has a BTW status and can be used for professional expenses. If needed we can create an invoice on a different name/company.

More about the facilitator: 

Burgert is an Organisational Psychologist who specializes in fostering adaptive, innovative, and integrated behaviour within teams and organizations. His Master’s research on improvisational theatre practices to foster work group innovation was published in the SA Journal for Industrial Psychology*. He has completed several courses certified by the international coach Federation on individual and team coaching 

Burgert has led workshops on leadership, team innovation, and collaborative creativity at top South African business schools, major companies and international conferences. 

He studied improv at the IO theater in Chicago and was part of South Africa’s longest running Afrikaans Improv group, Lagnes.
